I was born at a very early age in Salina. I attended Franklin Elementary, Roosevelt-Lincoln Jr. High and graduated from Central High School in 1989.  I was active in band and wrestling among numerous other school activities.  I then moved to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University where I obtained a music education degree and performed in the "Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band".  Upon graduation I moved to Dallas, Texas to become a band director for 21 years.  I taught at several different schools around the DFW metroplex with the most recent being in Irving, TX.

I began my Edward Jones career in 2019 as a financial advisor in Flower Mound, Texas but in 2021 an opportunity presented itself to move to Wichita, Kansas to be the national sales manager for a company that manufactures marching band uniforms.  I jumped at the chance to get closer to home.

Then last summer, I was asked to come back to Edward Jones, but this time here in Salina.  My office is located on East Crawford at the Marymount Rd intersection.  It is the same office my dad opened in the late 90's.

I am thrilled to be back home raising my two boys, 12 and 14, in the same great town I grew up in.  They attend Lakewood and Central.  We have a freeloading dog and a lazy cat (named Biscuit and Gravy).  The boys are involved in sports, scouts and music and when we have time, we enjoy attending KSU sporting events.  My dad passed away in 2016 but my mom and sister still live in town.  With my boys at such a fun and active age, it sure is GREAT to be close to family and as Dorothy says, "There is no place like home!"

I enjoy philanthropy and working together with others for a common cause plus, I just like getting out of the office and meeting and visiting with people!  This is why the Salina Rotary Club is a perfect fit. I am thrilled to become a member!
