A few years ago, I walked into Rotary not fully realizing how much it would impact my life. What started as simply attending weekly meetings quickly grew into meaningful friendships, opportunities to serve alongside incredible people, and a deeper connection to the Salina community. Rotary has challenged me to grow—both personally and professionally—while reminding me how powerful it can be when people come together with a shared purpose of doing good.
Now, as I step into the role of incoming president of the Salina Rotary Club, I feel both humbled and excited. What makes our club so special is the relationships. Rotary is more than meetings and projects—it’s encouragement, mentorship, community pride, and showing up for one another. The people in this club genuinely care, and that spirit is contagious. Mondays have honestly become my favorite day of the week because I know I’ll leave feeling inspired, energized, and grateful.
As we look ahead, one of my biggest hopes is to continue growing our club by sharing the heart of Rotary with others. There are so many benefits to being a Rotarian—lifelong friendships, meaningful opportunities to serve the community, growth as a leader, and the chance to be part of something bigger than yourself. Whether you’ve been a member for several decades, a couple of years, or just a few months, I appreciate you all being here and look forward to getting to know each of you even better. Rotary has given so much to me, and I want others to experience the same sense of purpose, belonging, and joy that I’ve found within this incredible club. Yours truly, Jenni Jones
